According to California Food Banks, approximately 4.9 Million Californians face insecurity about food. Food is the most fundmanetal basic human necessity. No child or adult should go to bed hungry. Besides food, some families struggle with making ends meet. There are numerous services and organizations in our communities which can help families in need of food, shelter and other basic human needs. However, its difficult and cumbersome to find what organizations or services are available nearby.
This app helps finding nearby organizations and government services providing food, shelter and health aid.
Code for America database of local organizations and government entities which provided various human welfare services
