Ontology of sustainable development in economy
Ontology of sustainable development in economy (OSDE).
The sustainable development is a complex and multilateral process distinguished by three fundamental pillars – economic, social and environmental. The sustainability in economy is one of the three pillars of sustainable development. In the article a domain ontology of sustainable development in economy is presented as a part of an ontological metamodel of sustainable development. The main concepts are the indicators and metrics of economic sustainability. They are extracted from standards and commonly accepted regulations of UN. The ontology is formalized by OWL in Protégé environment and is proposed as an addition to the existing knowledge sources in the area.
