NUCES circle

This is a professional networking application (similar to
LinkedIn) where students can build their professional profile highlighting their
accomplishments, skills, experiences, interests and semester projects. Students
can build their circle by connecting with other members and also get endorsed
by other fellows or instructors present in Nuces-Circle. This helps recruiters in
searching most appropriate candidate from the campus.

Features ✨

1) Student registration and sign-up:

- with site
- with Linkedin authentication & fill fields automatically i.e. first name, last
name etc

2) Profile Editing:

- Edit and Update profile that includes credentials, accomplishments, skills,
experiences, interests (frameworks, languages, technologies, etc), semester
projects description, graduation date etc

3) Connecting with other users:

- Request other users to connect.
- My connections listing page (approved + pending).

4) Recruiting:

- Signup/login
- Post job (Job title, description, discipline, experience, tags, etc)
- See number and list of applied applicants against each job and candidate
relevancy.
- Comprehensive Search widget based on different criteria (graduation date,
discipline, interests)

5) Email:

- Send email to any member.

6) Job Application:

- One click apply to any job.

7) Newsfeed:

- One User can post a status. or see his previous statuses.
- A User can see his network newsfeed with endless scrolling feature.

Important Note 📝

This project is done using AngularJS, ExpressJS, NodeJS and MySQL. MySQL database was deployed on a free hosting server which is down now (login/ signup won’t work!). Moreover, email smtp and linkedin auth credentials have been removed. The deployment is done just as a proof of concept.
