A widget to update a feature collection in any map that you have editable permissions with the current selections on the map.

Features

• An ArcGIS Web AppBuilder Widget
• Can determine which selection to save
• Ability to choose a map in My Content or in a group

Requirements

1. ArcGIS Web AppBuilder or ArcGIS Enterprise
2. Permission to edit maps

1. Clone this repo and copy the folder FeatureCollectionUpdater to /WebAppBuilderForArcGIS\client\stemapp\widgets

Instructions for ArcGIS Enterprise

1. Please follow instructions here Add custom widgets

Usage

1. Launch the configured application
2. Click the Feature Collection Updater widget to open it
3. Draw a box around the features you want to select, press Next
4. Choose the map the feature you wish to update, press Next
5. Give your selection a name and a location to save, press OK
6. The map’s current feature collection will be updated with the new feature collection
